The general purpose Adams hand held metal detectors are designed and manufactured to endure 24 hour continuous use and abuse in the toughest of working environments.
The AD Series metal detectors have a sensitivity of 0.1 grams detection mass. An alarm indication is given by a piezo sounder and a high intensity LED when the battery is running low and a continuous audio/visual LED signal that the battery is exhausted.

The AD11-2 model also has a simultaneous audio-visual alarm facility with the added ability, via a two-position rocker switch, to turn off the audio sounder.

Model AD11-V has our standard simultaneous audio/visual alarm facility, but with the added ability, via a two-position rocker switch, to switch the detector to either standard audio/visual setting or vibration only mode.
This feature give the AD11-V the ability to alert the operator of a potential weapon silently. This feature has proven very useful when working in a noisy environment or if the operator wishes to conduct a search procedure, while keeping eye-contact with the subject being screened.

AD18 general purpose to high-sensitivity hybrid detection
AD18
It features a two-position rocker switch. In the back position the rocker switch enables the AD18 to perform as a very effective, general-purpose metal detector with a very high operational speed.
However, with the rocker switch in the forward position the AD18 converts to a super high sensitivity unit capable of detecting very small masses of metal that had previously been undetectable, but with the ease of use of a fully automatic unit, with just the flick of a switch.
