Instructions

User Details:

These fields refer to user details of the licensee. Please ensure the email address is correct and accessiblefrom the site where the license is destined to, as it shall be sent out via e-mail.

License Details:

Site Name:Name or Description of the Site which UniGuard will be reporting for. Keep in mind this will display at the top of your reports.
Organization:Organization to whom the software is being licensed.
Machine ID:Machine ID is a number specific to every computer. UniGuard Software is machine-locked, which means everycomputer which has a version of UniGuard must be licensed with its own unique Machine ID.
For more details on how to retrieve your Machine ID, read below under Machine ID header.

Software Details:

Version:Please refer to your invoice if you are unsure of which software version you own.
Invoice:Invoice Number which you received upon purchase of your software. If unsure, please state TBA on the form.
Build:Build Number of your software.
For more details on how to retrieve your Software Build Number, read below under Software Build header.
Machine ID

To get your Machine ID, please follow these steps:

1.Click on the Request Machine ID button on the left.
When prompted, Click Run.
(Firefox users will have to save the file and the run it)
 Click Run
2.A warning will be issued due to the nature of the file (.exe) Click Run.
Note: For those users unwilling to Run the executable from the website,you can get your Machine ID from the license tab under Help in the UniGuard software
 Click Run
3.A window will open, it will automatically display your Machine ID for you. Press the Copy to Clipboard button.
 Click Copy to Clipboard
4.Finally, simply Right Click on the field to the left labeled Machine ID Under the License Details header, and select Paste.

Software Build Number

To get your Software Build Number, please follow these steps:

1.Log into UniGuard as per normal (if this is your first time using the software, the default log in details are'username: admin' and 'password: admin')
2.Click on Help, then on About.
 Click Help|About
3.You will find the build number on this panel. As shown in the image below.
