SITES: As the name would imply, sites are the physical locations where the patrol routes take effect. To set up your sites simply click on the Sites button to open up the Sites Menu.

CHECKPOINTS: Checkpoints are marked points whithin the physical sites. These are stored in your database using Encoded Point Visit Tags. Each one of these points represents a place which must be visited during a patrol route. Simply touch your recorder's head against the Encoded Point Visit Tag, listen for the beep eminating from the recorder (or look for the blue flash) and that's it. The time and date of the visit are immediately stored inside the recorder. To set up your checkpoints click on Checkpointsto enter the Checkpoints Menu.

DOWNLOAD: This button will force your recorder to download (provided it is sitting inside the downloader). It is recommended however, to leave this process to be performed automatically when you insert the recorder into the downloader. If you are unsure of how to set your downloader for automatic downloading check out this tutorial.
