Editing existing users

Sometimes, you may wish for an Operator user to have access to the system, but at the same time, not be able to have as much power over the system as the Administrator User. UniGuard will allow you to fully customize what kinds of access levels you grant every user, and it is quite easy to do. Just as before, highlight the Operator user and then click on the Edit button.

A new window should open with the Operator user's details. Simply enter the new desired username and password to change them. It is advisable to write these down somewhere.

Once the window opens, you will notice two tabs at the top left, Details and Profile. After changing the username and password setting on the Details tab, click on Profile. You will notice a lot of tick-boxes with different options as well as a secondary navigation menu on the left hand side of the window. Navigate through the different tabs and tick (or untick) the settings you would like/not like your Operator to have access to. Once finished, simply click Ok to save your settings and exit.
