How do I license my UniGuard Patrol Management Systems software?
Licensing is extremely flexible, depending on the license/support agreement with your vendor, you may have a tailored solution.
To view the license information, select the Help/License menu option. (This menu option is only available if the logged in user has the necessary permission in their user profile)

License Information

- User The user that the software is licensed to.
- User Organization The organization of the user that the software is licensed to.
- Machine Locked If this option is checked, the license is only valid for this computer.
- Network Control If this option is checked, the license is retrieved from a network license server.
- Vendor Name The vendor that created the license file.
- Vendor Organization The organization of the vendor that created the license file.
- Date Created Date that the vendor created the license file.
- License Status The status of the current license. This could be "Licensed" if the system is licensed, or "Expired" if the license has expired and is no longer valid.
- MachineID This is a unique number identifying the computer. Depending on the license agreement with your vendor, you may be required to supply this number when requesting a license.
Renewing the license
To renew the license, click the Renew button.
License File method

- Click the Add button to browse for a new license file.
- Select the license and click the Open button.
- Select the added license file and click the Check License button.
License Key method

Paste the received License Key in the space provided and click the Check License button.
Removing the license
Click the Remove button to remove the current license.
Requesting a license
Click the Email Request button to open your default mail client ready to send an email request for a license.
